33rd Conference of CIGRE Serbia

33rd Conference of the Serbian National Committee of CIGRE will be held from 05 to 08 June 2017 on Zlatibor. ELEM & ELGO will be actively involved in the conference, both in marketing part as a DONOR, and in technical part, through participation in technical events, especially in meetings of the technical committee B2 Overhead Transmission Lines.

Project Management Consultancy services for 110kV grid connection of Wind Farm Alibunar

E&E signed a contract for project management consultancy services for 110kV grid connection of Wind Farm Alibunar. The wind farm project is one of the first wind energy projects in Serbia to reach the implementation phase and is developed by the Belgian company Elicio NV, through its local company Electrawinds S d.o.o. When constructed, the wind farm will consist of 21 units, with total installed capacity of 48MW. The grid connection project consists of a 110kV switchyard and 110kV OHL. Notification about an important change in the management structure of ELEM & ELGO d.o.o.

In the end of 2016, an important change in the management structure within ELEM & ELGO d.o.o. (E&E) was implemented. Miloš Golubović is the new General Manager of E&E. Also, our colleagues with rich experience in working at E&E, were appointed as Assistant Managers: – Ivica Bačvanski, Dip.Eng.El. (Technical issues) and – Slavica Šećković, M.Sc.Econ. (Finance and Administration). Ljubiša Golubović (former General Manager) and Mirjana Golubovic (former Deputy Manager for Finance and Administration) will continue to work at E&E as senior advisors. Design of 110kV underground cable line in the centre of Belgrade

We signed a new contract with AD EMS (transmission system operator of Serbia) for design of new 110kV underground cable line between centrally located Belgrade substations Belgrade 1 and Belgrade 6. The contracted services comprise all design stages, from conceptual design to design for construction, environment impact assessment (EIA) study, geological study, fire protection study, crossing studies, etc.

Social engagement of our company

As a socially responsible company, ELEM & ELGO cares about the safety, health and quality of life in its environment. We showed our support to the brochure “Drugs and addiction”, prepared by the Dragao company, in cooperation with the Serbian Police Union. The brochure is intended to inform, primarily children and youth, about the harmfulness of drugs and addiction, which is one of the leading causes of destroying the family. In 2015 E&E supported the brochure “Basics and objectives of first aid” intended for school-age children.

E&E obtained a license for design services on projects (10MW and above) of renewable energy sources / RES (P190E1), by Serbian legislation

Besides existing licenses for design and construction of electrical installation facilities of high and medium voltage, power lines and substations of 110 kV or more (P061E1, P062E1, I061E1, I062E1), on 29th of September 2016 our company obtained a license for design of electrical installations of high and medium voltage facilities for production of energy from renewable sources, of installed capacity of 10 MW and above (P190E1). Thus, ELEM & ELGO is strengthening its position in this field, following trends in the energy sector.

“Connectivity Networks Gap Analysis” (IPF3 project) has been successfully finalised

The study covered the Western Balkan region (WB6) and focused on connectivity projects in transport and energy sector. The study was developed by the IPF3 Consortium, lead by Mott MacDonald and the beneficiary was European Commission, DG NEAR (Directorate-General for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations). For the main information about the study, please, read the initial related news. We signed a new contract with Adjaristsqali Georgia LLC (AGL) for design validation services related to construction of new 35kV OHL Shuakhevi-Skhalta in Georgia. To quote the web page of AGL (www.agl.com.ge), our Client is the special purpose vehicle set up to develop the hydropower resources on the Adjaristsqali River and its tributaries, in the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, in South Western Georgia. Wind Park “Bela Anta” – Support to the Client in preparation of Detailed Spatial Plans (110kV switchyard and overhead line)

Since 2015, ELEM & ELGO is participating in project of development of Wind Park “Bela Anta”, and is covering, together with our partner DNP Inženjering d.o.o., the connection to the 110kV transmission network. The new contract comprises support of DNP Inženjering and E&E to the Client (Energohelis group d.o.o.) in process of preparation of Detailed Spatial Plan for 110kV switchyard and overhead line.

IPF Study – “Connectivity Networks Gap Analysis”, connectivity in the Western Balkans

We have a pleasure to participate in one more important study, covering the Western Balkan region (WB6) and focusing on connectivity projects in transport and energy sector. The study is developed by the IPF3 Consortium, lead by Mott MacDonald and the beneficiary is European Commission, DG NEAR (Directorate-General for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations). The geographic coverage of the Connectivity Gap Analysis is the countries of the Western Balkans that are eligible for grants under the WBIF, and the IPA programme. The Analysis will also cover the connectivity of the Western Balkans with neighboring countries along the TEN-T and TEN-E networks. […]
