Substation 110/10kV Autokomanda (GIS), Belgrade, Serbia
Basic design of Electrical substation 110/10kV Autokomanda, with technical specifications for procurement has been completed and submitted to the Client (Power Distribution Company of Belgrade). Construction of the plant will be completed in 2014 and will enable reliable supply of electrical energy to the brand new commercial complex on this attractive location in the center of Belgrade. Civil design was prepared by Alfa Projektni Biro d.o.o. Belgrade.
Our New Office Space in Belgrade
We finally completed the construction of a new building for the design office in Belgrade, Vinodolska Str. 21. The construction was fully financed by E&E and the construction works took part from January 2012 to September 2012.
Consultancy Services on Renewable Energy Projects
ELEM & ELGO is a qualified consultant of VOLKSBANK Serbia on projects of renewable energy sources(hydropower and biomass). In May 2012 we issued the final positive opinion on Detailed Design and financial analysis for construction of Small Hydro Power Plant (SHPP) “Dzep”, near Surdulica, Serbia (Investor National Electric Power Company, Surdulica). Soon after this contract, a new contract has been signed with Beofund d.o.o. Belgrade, to provide consultancy services on the project of reconstruction of existing SHPP Degurić on the river Gradac. Our consulting team will be committed to contribute to the success of this project.
Newly signed Memorandums of Understanding in 2011
In the previous period, E&E has signed several Memorandums of Understanding, general and related to specific markets, where intensive activities are planned. The MOU’s were signed with the following institutions and companies: Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade, TeleGroup d.o.o. Belgrade, Amiga d.o.o. Kraljevo, Hyundai Heavy Industries KOMEX a.s., Ostrava (Czech Republic) and CEN-COTEC NIG. Ltd., Lagos (Nigeria). We expect that the signed MOU’s are a good basis for future cooperation with these partners on specific projects.

30th Conference of CIGRE Serbia
30th Conference of the Serbian National Committee of CIGRE was held from 29 May to 3 June 2011 on Zlatibor. ELEM & ELGO was actively involved in the conference, both in marketing part as a DONOR, and in technical part, through conference papers of its employees. There were in total four papers, in two technical committees. We thank the organization and the honorary committee for the excellent organization and we hope to contribute to the work of the National Committee even more at its future conferences.
Highway E-70 / E-75, Belgrade Ring Road – Electrical Infrastructure Projects
With the “Highway Institute” Belgrade, E&E contracted design of power facilities (cable and overhead lines and substations), lighting, and reconstruction of overhead power lines in range from 35kV to 400kV on the highway E-70 / E-75, Belgrade Ring Road, section from Dobanovci to Bubanj Potok (Sectors 1 – 4 and Sector 6). Within the objects included in the project, there are three interchanges and a tunnel Beli Potok, with associated electromechanical installations and signalization. Deadline for submission of all detailed design documents is August 2011.
Highway E-75 Batajnica – Dobanovci and Interchange Dobanovci
E&E contracted with The Highway Institute design of power facilities (cable and overhead lines and substations), lighting, and reconstruction of overhead power lines 35kV and 110kV on the highway E-75, section Batajnica – Dobanovci, Intrechange Dobanovci and Regional road R-267 Batajnica – Dobanovci. The construction of the roads and supporting infrastructure was awarded as a “turnkey” project to company Strabag, which contracted the design part with the The Highway Institute and E&E. Deadline for the design phase is March 2011.
