Nastavak projekta North CSE Corridor (Severni koridor CSE), uključujući i BeoGrid 2025

Soon after the Pre-Feasibility Study related to this strategic project was finalized,  the next stage was initiated – Feasibility Study and ESIA for new 400/110 kV substation Belgrade West, 400kV OHL substation Belgrade West – switching station Čibuk 1, and 400 kV OHL Serbia – Romania.

As with the previous assignment, the beneficiary of the study is the Serbian Transmission System Operator Elektromreža Srbije JSC (EMS) and the project is implemented by IPF7 Consortium lead by Hill International. The grant is provided by the Western Balkans Investment Framework (WBIF). The IFI is German Development Bank (KfW). Our E&E team is again responsible for the project management and technical (overhead lines and substation) component.

This time though, the assignment consists of two Components:

  1. BeoGrid 2025, with 400 kV OHL S/S Belgrade West – WPP Čibuk 1 and Substation 400/110 kV Belgrade West (Belgrade 50) and
  2. Upgrade of existing 400 kV OHL Serbia (HPP Djerdap 1) – Romania (Portile de Fier) to double-circuit OHL.

The Feasibility Study shall further assess and analyse the previously selected project option and help bring the project closer to the implementation phase, considering it is a project positioned very high on the priority list of EMS.

The assignment shall be completed in the third quarter of 2022.
