Bosnia – Herzegovina Committee of the International Council on Large Electric Systems – CIGRE BHK held its 12th conference in Neum, Hotel Grand Hotel Neum, from 4 to 8 October 2015. Within the Study Committee B2, a paper by authors Ivica Bacvanski, Milos Golubovic and Jim Rowe, titled “Use of SkyWrap cable for establishment of optical communicationlink, as a solution on existing overhead lines” was presented. The paper was presented by Ivica Bacvanski, and the discussion was interesting, especially in terms of regional exchange of experiences in the implementation of alternative solutions for the set out of optical connection over overhead lines.
