Our civil/structural design team finalized design documents and workshop documentation for 35kV overhead line steel lattice towers and corresponding foundations.
Two series of standard tower types for single and double circuit 35kV lines were elaborated by these projects. Each series of towers consists of: suspension tower (type N), angle tension tower for deviation angles 0°-30° (type UZ30) and angle tension tower for deviation angles 30°-60° (type UZ60), also calculated and designed as terminal tower for deviation angles 0°-60°. The towers are steel lattice towers, type “Fir” for single circuit OHL, and type “Barrel” for double circuit OHL.
These designs are important because they were prepared in accordance with the latest legislation, and by use of software tools which enable optimization of technical solutions and flexibility in use of design documents. Powerline Tower was used for structural calculations and GRAITEC Advance Steel for preparation of workshop drawings.
Angle tension towers UZ30 and UZ60 for single circuit 35kV OHL will be used for reconstruction of 35kV OHL from SS 35/10kV “Čačak 4” to SS 35/10kV “Brđani” on section Čačak- Gornji Milanovac.
